INVESTMENT (handwritten)
Fine Art Wedding Invitations are more than just stationery for a special day. They are visual representations of who you are and set the tone for the wedding. This first glimpse will bring much excitement and anticipation! In the design process, she works closely with each bride to incorporate meaningful details through custom illustrations, watercolor, and calligraphy to bring your vision to life.
The Process
I. Inquire and BookStart by filling out the wedding invitation questionnaire here! Once this is done, a proposal built around your desires and budget will be sent. After the contract has been signed and the deposit paid, a complimentary consultation will be organized to further discuss the vision for your invitations.
II. DraftAfter learning more about your style, you will receive access to a customized client portal where all important documents will be kept. Next, a design board will be sent including a color palette, sketches, and all things to reflect your wedding vision. Two complimentary rounds of revisions are included in this phase.
III. ProofOnce the draft is approved, further refining of all components of your invitation suite will begin. Then an official design proof will be sent over. Together, we make sure all the little details are perfect before printing. The design cannot be altered once the proof is approved.
IV. ProductionA minimum of 3 weeks is planned for production and an additional 1-2 weeks for embellishments and assembly. Full suite assembly and USPS mail out is available upon request if you desire a hands-off approach for your wedding invitations.
Working with Nikki
Nikki takes an intentional, artful approach when crafting wedding invitations and day-of goods. Each project is driven by the bride’s vision to set the tone for the wedding day. As craft is very important to Nikki, all hand drawn illustrations, watercolor paintings, calligraphy, and assembly are done in house. She works closely with her print studios to ensure excellent quality control.
